Returning Tax Dollars To Your Township

A portion of the license plate tax is returned to township for use in road repairs. When you are renewing your license plate, please take the time to check vehicle registration to be sure that Franklin Township is listed as the area where you live.

If you do not specifically designate the township as your domicile, the tax money will go to the mailing address, usually the nearest municipality (Celina, for example). These are you tax dollars, and they should be directed back to Franklin Township.
